The Valencian Museum of Enlightenment and Modernity (MuVIM) is located in what was once the General Hospital of the Kingdom of Valencia, next to the most important preserved remains of it. The MuVIM aims to offer a vision of the fundamental movements of contemporary art, the development of techniques and sciences and the development of new ideas of modernity.
Its permanent exhibition is a risky museum and communication initiative: an experience not only intellectual, but also sensorial and emotional. The MuVIM is, in short, a different museum that does not want to leave anyone indifferent.
MuVIM activities and exhibitions always offer added value: they are more than just a display of objects. On the contrary, they use objects to express ideas.
